Registered Students: Start your Course

Check out e-Learning news feed site for e-Learning news and upcoming events.

Use the links below to information that will help you start your course.  The Registered Students Listing will give you links to your instructor's email and links to your Class Web site.

  1. Most e-Learning courses use a Learning Management System such as Canvas, Moodle, or a publisher site. If you are taking more than one e-Learning course you may need to login to different URLs.  It is important for you to access the correct URL so that you will successfully be able to login and access your course.
  2.  e-Learning courses require active participation and students need to log into their classes or communicate with their instructor by email no later than the second day of the quarter  to avoid getting behind or being dropped from the course.
  3. Never assume you are automatically dropped for non payment or because you have never logged in to your course.  If you do not want to take a class you have registered for please be sure to go to online registration and officially drop.  This will insure that there will be no impact on your grades or financial aid.

Online Students: Spring Quarter 2016

On the first day of the current quarter enrolled students will be able to access their instructor's website and have access to their accounts in any courseware. For classes using Canvas, accounts will be available on the Friday before the quarter begins.  Find out about any orientation meetings and materials for your class by visiting the Spring Meeting page.

For Spring quarter registration begins February 16, 2015  for returning students and February 22 for new students.  Most classes begin on April 4, 2016.

If your course uses Canvas LMS you need to be aware that accounts are only created for Officially Registered Students.  After you are moved from a waitlist into a course it can take up to 4 hours for your account to be activated.   Accounts are not created for students on waitlists.
