FAM 180 D1: Special Topics for Parents of Young Children (and those that care for young children)

Short Description: Attention parents and childcare providers of infants through preschool aged children: Take advantage of an online parent education class. This course offers the opportunity to receive, share, and discuss parenting information and concerns. The course is divided into two tracks: teacher directed and student initiated. How to Start Class:  After registration your instructors will email you on how to access the "virtual" online classroom.
Please Note: Distance Learning courses require active participation and students need to log into their classes during the first week of the quarter to avoid getting behind. 

Textbook: No textbook is needed as all information is provided online.

Other Instructional Materials:  Please contact instructor for information regarding any courseware used and for login information.
For classes using an online component, we suggest that you download the free version of Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and use one of these browsers whether or not AOL is your Internet Service Provider. Otherwise, if you are using the AOL browser, the built in shortcuts may cause problems with most North Online course tools. If you have loaded a special software tool bar such as the Google or Yahoo toolbar this may interfere with your courseware and cause it to not work properly please go to our tech support on Popups and Tool Bars for more information.
