
Short Description: This fully online class deals with ethical questions surrounding clinical medical practice, public health, and biomedical research. May be of particular interest to those considering health care professions, and to those interested in issues of health and human rights. Course focus will be on newly emerging infectious diseases (e.g., AIDS and drug resistant tuberculosis), and on environmentally induced diseases (e.g., cancers, asthma, chemical sensitivity, etc).
