Short Description: This fully online course covers production, consumption and distribution with emphasis on price determination, production, costs, and market structures. Required for economics and business administration majors, this course also meets the AA degree credit as Q-course, individuals/societies, or elective.

How to Start Class:  Email your instructor before the quarter begins to introduce yourself (link to email is above), view the online orientation. It is very important to access the Class Web site above as this is where the majority of the course content resides. Use the information below to gain access to any additional courseware that is used in your class. 
Please Note: Distance Learning courses require active participation and students need to log into their classes during the first week of the quarter to avoid getting behind. 

Textbook: This course uses an e-book, registration for this course includes the fee for the book. After you have registered and paid your fees contact your instructor for password and login information on how to access this e-book online. Please Note: by purchase of the e-book a student is granted the rights to one and only one copy, which can be read on-line, downloaded to one computer, captured on one CD, or printed onetime. The computer labs at NSCC will either charge per page or limit the pages you can print.

Please Note:
It is very important when you log into your ANGEL account for the first time that you update your email address. Once logged in go to "Preferences/Personal Information. In the "User Profile Editor" you need to enter a current email address in the "Contact Settings". This will insure that auto tech support will be able to reach you.
 
  
The protocol for logging into your ANGEL Learning class account:   
UserID
= your full 9 digit Student ID number.  
Password
= your full 9 digit Student ID number.
For classes using an online component, we suggest that you download the free version of Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and use one of these browsers whether or not AOL is your Internet Service Provider. Otherwise, if you are using the AOL browser, the built in shortcuts may cause problems with most North Online course tools. If you have loaded a special software tool bar such as the Google or Yahoo toolbar this may interfere with your courseware and cause it to not work properly please go to our tech support on Popups and Tool Bars for more information.
