CSC 111 D1: Computers for Math and Science
Short Description: Learn to
create and manage your own website with images, links, and multimedia.
Use EXCEL for scientific calculations and to create graphs. Create a
complete presentation in Powerpoint. Design and build a simple database
in Access. Enhance your website with simple JavaScript programs. Along
the way, you will learn to move information among various program
formats, among various operating systems, through email and compressed
archives. Includes an introduction to computer hardware, networks,
privacy, and security. Transfers to the UW as CSE/INFO 100.

For classes using an online component, we suggest that you download
